What is Cycle To Work?
Cycle To Work schemes let you spread the cost of a bike and equipment over 12 months by paying monthly through salary sacrifice. As an added benefit, you get your kit without paying any tax, national insurance, or interest saving you 25-39% on the purchase price. You pay nothing upfront and the payments are taken tax efficiently from your salary by your employer.
Cyclescheme https://www.cyclescheme.co.uk/ is the most well known scheme and generally when we talk about "cycle to work scheme", this is the provider.
At Strype Street Cycles we work with (and prefer) Cyclescheme https://www.cyclescheme.co.uk/ and GCI https://www.greencommuteinitiative.uk/.

How does it work?
If your employer has signed up, you can request a certificate from Cyclescheme here or GCI here and then once you receive your certificate, build a basket, and use this to pay for your order online here.
How much can I spend?
In many cases, cycle to work shemes are now unlimited however your employer may impose an internal limit. In some cases your employer will allow you to make a top-up payment if you would like to purchase a more expensive bike.
